Juniper appoints new Head Wine Maker

After weeks of in-depth interviews and tastings, we are delighted to announce that we have appointedAndrew BrethertonasJuniper’s Head Winemaker.

Andrew has been serving as the Senior Winemaker at Deep Woods since 2017, a period during which their achievements in wine shows (and the recognition that comes with this) have been remarkable. His extensive experience also spans 15 years of crafting wines across notable regions like Germany's Mosel, Burgundy in France, Italy's Chianti Classico, as well as closer to home in the Adelaide Hills and the Yarra Valley. He brings years of experience combined with an intuitive approach and a passion for making beautiful wine. With a firm belief in the inherent class of Margaret River as a winegrowing region, he is excited to craft site driven wines of character and reveal a sense of place.

Andrew said, “I feel very honoured and extremely excited to take this role at one of the founding sites in Margaret River. I have always loved the wines made under the Juniper label and I can’t wait to work with the next generation of family and the whole Juniper team to develop the next chapter of the Juniper story. “Â
