Increasingly greater numbers of Aussie rosés are taking a more serious approach to drinking pleasure. This one’s been made with a mix of shiraz, cabernet and merlot grapes, and it’s been fermented to dryness. Savoury, dry and very easy to drink with a huge array of food.

A light pink blush colour. There were ripe red berry and strawberry characters on the nose. The palate was restrained without too much fruit and there was an exceptionally good dry finish. That fruit and acid complemented the food. The acid and savoury character of the food gave a nice lift to the palate structure.
Ken Dobler, Sydney International Wine Show 2008
Strong cerise shade, sugared strawberries and cream on the nose with lively fruitiness on palate countered by acidity. Cabernet with shiraz and merlot.

A Rosé from this quality Margaret River establishment with the respected Mark Messenger being the winemaker. Strawberries, raspberries and watermelon just gush out, all fresh and vibrant. Delicate rose petals follow. Lively acidity supports the ripe fruit well resulting in good balance and a nice easy finish. Try it with char grilled fish.

Another excellent Rosé from this terrific Margaret River producer. It's fresh, clean and vibrant with red cherry and wild strawberry flavours and bright, cleansing acidity to finish. 17.5 / 20

Shy nose but with some lovely fresh, estery fruit peeking through. Full-flavoured palate. Nice aperitif style. 3 stars
