This Chardonnay has deliberately been made into a modern statement of the variety to display the fruit intensity and just a hint of subtly applied oak. The palate is controlled and tightly wound with good balance to sustain the finish. Nice natural acid provides a lift.

I’m impressed. This is a stunning Chardonnay from Juniper Estate. It just delivers so perfectly in all its dimensions so well. The fruit is tantalising – its classic nectarine with lemon sherbet essences, tropical fruit notes are just classic and this is accompanied with an overall tightness of cashew oak, lightly spiced at that. Creamy soft yet with a neat tanginess at the rear, the purity of the fruit really sets itself off in a polished elegant way. The length goes forever, and the flavours are dynamic, active and ongoing. I thoroughly enjoyed this Chardonnay and so did all around me!

Pale straw-green; a super-elegant and fragrant bouquet is reflected by the palate, with immaculate nectarine and white peach fruit, all in a subtle mode. Needs to develop a little muscle as it ages. Screwcap.

Juniper’s super value Chardonnay, sourced from Margaret River has all the stamps of quality and authenticity with fig and melon fruit aromas, really fresh and concentrated. Terrific mouthfilling presence with a burst of melon, citrus and cashew flavor, turning toasty through the finish.

'Oh good. Here’s a wine that needs no introduction….
I took to this one pretty much straight away and that’s always a good sign. The texture is very attractive with a light glossiness and balanced but crisp acidity. There’s grapefruit and tropical fruits - a nice mix of cooler and warmer (climate) fruit. Dusty, spicy oak and cashew nuts add further interest. It’s just above middle weight, and while intense, is not a powerhouse Margaret Style - it’s more classy and mannered.'
