A shy, restrained aroma leads into a savoury, non-fruity palate with minerally, savoury characters. There’s a touch of grip from tannins as well as good weight, structure and length. 90/100

Top Aussie White
Restrained nose with dusty, herby, mineral notes and a suggestion of barrel influence. Savoury, dry and flavoursome with depth, structure and a slight grip to finish. Enough concentration to keep a few years. Very tasty. 90/100 Food: Sautéed crab with artichoke and polenta.

“A very clean, fresh well made wine showing perfectly ripe gooseberry fruit with some minerality and racy acidity."
Highly recommended.

Bright straw-green; a pure bouquet and a precise palate are brought into focus with the expansion of the lemon/lime fruit flavours of the finish and aftertaste; ready now. Screwcap.

I reckon this is the best example of this blend under this label yet. I like the small-barrel ferment influence and some subtle bâtonnage to add some texture. At the same time the aromatic characters of these varieties are retained. A beautiful short-term cellaring wine.

Ray Jordan, Wine, The West Australian 11th March 2010
Slightly shy to start with on the nose, this has plenty of apple and melon fruit and light dried herbs too. The palate is neatly cut between citrus and tropical flavours, smoothly polished from front to back. Drink now.
